Restaurant Belle de Jour was born in 2013 out of Els Vanbiervliet’s passion for art, food and bringing people together. Her goal: to establish more than just another average culinary haven at the Belgian coast.
Every day Belle de Jour offers a varied seasonal menu inspired by the moment, apart from some classics with a twist.
They have a special eye for à la minute preparations with fresh produce, brought in from the North Sea and Rungis International Market, local organic vegetables and top notch all natural beef.
Try the sea menu now that you are in Ostend or order à la carte and leaf through the extensive wine list. But most importantly: make yourself at home.
The restaurant is open from 18.00 every evening except on Sundays and Mondays. Make sure you book a few days in advance as it tends to be busy.
